Indonesia as the largest archipelagic country in the world, known as a maritime country with most of its territory is the waters. And has owned the land area with 191.07 million Ha which the 50% area has potential for agriculture.
The need for pumps and valves industry in Indonesia is still high, water treatment remained the focus of Goverment policy of Indonesia, the Indonesia market for pumps , compressors, taps and valves are to see 11,1% CAGR over 2014 – 2020, with increasing investman and expansion in water treatment, construction and more, the Indonesia region will continue to see strong growth which will result in further demand for high-end, pumps, valves and boilers, accelerating fixed investment spending, process manufacturing activity and primary energy consumption growth will support gains in the worldwide pump market. Currently 49 dam construction projects are considered national strategic projects by the Indonesia goverment. All these 49 projects are targeted to be completed by 2019. 16 projects have already been tendered in 2014 and currently being constructed.
